Administrative Assistant

(Hours: 7:30 am to 4 pm, Mon-Fri)

We currently are looking for a dynamic candidate for our Administrative Assistant role. The outgoing, positive spirited candidate will have at least 1 year of administrative assistant experience.  Along with earning a certification from college or technical school is preferred.

SUMMARY

Primary functions of this position will include a answering a multi-line telephone system and directing incoming calls to proper extensions/voicemails.  Provide administrative assistant to all departments, including ownership and managers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

  • Answer telephone and greet visitors.
  • Pick up, sort and distribute mail.
  • Meeting preparation and planning.
  • Perform administrative support work specific to each department
  • Use computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, databases and scheduling.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Work/Excel to create documents and spreadsheets.
  • The ability to efficiently multi-task and must be detail orientated.
  • Other various office duties.

Material Handler

1st Shift Position (5 am to 3:30 pm, M-F) 

SUMMARY

Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
  • Ensures materials are marked with proper identifying information prior to moving.
  • Opens bales, crates and other containers.
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
  • Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
  • Operates forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
  • Be willing to perform other duties that maybe outside your normal work functions as directed by management

Jobs Analyst

 

Work Hours:  7 am to 3:30 pm (Mon-Fri)

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and monitor all open Jobs to ensure they are turned in and closed in a timely manner
  • Daily review of labor and burden on active jobs
  • Reconcile and close Production Jobs verifying correct quantities and components are reported/used
  • Creation of all new Jobs in ERP (Epicor) for Production
  • Handling of all Job revision requests related to quantity
  • Engineering Change Requests (ECR’s) related to Jobs
  • Creation of new Parts requested by Engineering
  • Updating of BOM’s (bills of material) for Parts, Jobs
  • Daily review and corrections of negative on hand quantities in stock
  • Engineering Change Requests (ECR’s) related to inventory adjustments
  • Validation / adjusting of finished goods unit cost
  • Works with shop Supervisors / Foreman to educate and improve shop floor reporting
  • Works directly with Scheduling, Quality, Customer Service, Engineering, Shipping
  • Document and follow thru on problems that arise
  • Assist with Month End reports

Qualifications

  • Must have attention to detail, good organization skills
  • Must be self-motivated, take initiative and work with minimal supervision
  • Communicates clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Comfortable in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Good computer skills, must be able to type and use a number pad on keyboard

Education and Experience

  • Associates Degree or equivalent, or two years’ similar experience.
  • Experience with Epicor ERP system is a plus

Production Finisher Positions

Several Second and Third Shift Positions

Second Shift (3 to 11:30 pm)

Third Shift (11 pm to 7:30 am)

SUMMARY

Employee will perform duties with the assistance of an experienced operator or technician. If so driven, a Production Finisher will train to become a Machine Operator in CNC, Robot, Thermoforming or Secondary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Load/unload CNC, Robot and/or Forming Machines during production cycle.
  • Knowledge regarding basic hand tools and ability to use them.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Properly operate band saw to cut up plastic scrap.
  • Understand all safety devices on machinery.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Must be able to read and understand work instructions in English.

Sheet Extrusion Operator I

12 Positions (Schedule will be 3 days on, 2 days off and Every Other Weekend-12 Hour Days)

SUMMARY

Employee will perform duties detailed below with the guidance of higher level technician.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Able to understand all operations & materials on production Job Traveler.
  • Assist in basic extrusion setups with assistance of experience Technician with accuracy.
  • Identify cold & hot sheet in extrusion process & adjust knives & shear to insure correct sheet size.
  • Ensure materials are kept at full level for oncoming crew.
  • Able to identify defective product in the Extrusion process and follow QC procedure for Non-Conforming sheets.
  • Maintain daily journal and daily log run sheets.
  • Able to figure pounds per hour.
  • Able to start up and shut down extrusion equipment.
  • Able to perform general & preventative maintenance functions.
  • Communicate clearly with co-workers and supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • One to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Must be able to speak, read and understand work instructions in English.

Tooling Department

SUMMARY

Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products. Must have strong organizational skills, mechanically inclined as well as self-motivated.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
  • Be able to interpret Tooling/Part Drawings.
  • Ensures tools are marked with proper identifying information prior to moving
  • Opens bales, crates and other containers
  • Operates Forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment
  • Complete tooling duties as assigned (50% of the job responsibility)

Be willing to perform other duties that maybe outside your normal work functions as directed by management
