Secondary Production Worker
Description

 Operator performs assembly of plastic OEM or Packaging parts.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Be able to read and understand work instructions and PCS quality sheets. 

• Be competent and safe in using most common hand tools and select power tools.

• Be able to understand Entering counts and recording labor in Epicor. 

• Be able to use a band saw safely.

• Be able to understand filling out a Job Recap Form. 

• Keep and maintain a clean and well orderly work area.

• Be able to help in the CNC department.

HOURS

1st shift 5 AM to 3:30 PM

2nd shift 3 PM to 1:30 AM

Class A CDL Driver
Description

Individual drives a tractor with one or more trailers (18 wheeler) on public streets or highways to transport materials or equipment within a city or state (local). The job typically requires a valid class A commercial driver’s license (CDL). Drivers will participate in loading and are responsible for securing the load using approved devices and methods.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Performs Daily Vehicle Inspections
  • Operates Forklift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to Trucks/Trailers
  • Accurately records product information on transfer sheets
  • Properly secures loads
  • Delivers loads in a safe and timely manner
  • Assists in unloading product from Trucks/Trailers with the use of a forklift
  • Audits product with the use of packing list/transfer sheet for correct information
  • Maintains fuel & fluid levels in the vehicle at all times

EXPERIENCE 

Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving combination vehicles weighing over 26,001 lbs. with air brakes.

7 to 3:30 pm, Mon-Fri

2 days on, 2 days off and Every Other Weekend-12 Hour Days 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand all operations & materials on production Job Traveler
  • Maintain good packing of the sheet, legible packaging labels, and neat records
  • Ensure materials kept at a full level for oncoming crew
  • Help start-up line
  • Identify defective products in the extrusion process and follow the QC procedure for non-conforming sheets
  • Perform all quality inspections with accuracy
  • Assist in extrusion setups with accuracy
  • Maintain gauge, set knives/shear, and identify cold & hot sheets in the extrusion process.
  • Make minimal adjustments to the extrusion line.
  • Identify defective product in the Extrusion process & follow QC procedure for Non-Conforming sheet
  • Service blenders, hoppers, grinder, shredder, and silos.
  • Inspect part of Quality criteria and pre-approve the first part.
  • Forklift license a plus!QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • One to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and understand work instructions in English

    Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift
    Description

    Allied Plastics Inc. is a Custom Plastic Thermoforming Manufacturer located in Twin Lakes, WI and is looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the 2nd Shift Team.

    Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Monday – Friday*

    *Training first two weeks 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    * Maybe placed “on-call” rotating weekends

    Pay: Based on experience

    Maintenance Technician Duties 

    • Understand 480V 3 phase Operation and able to run diagnostic testing
    • Understand and troubleshoot control circuits including 110V AC, 24V DC, relay and ladder logic
    • Diagnose and repair machines and equipment visually and audibly
    • Check vacuum pumps and air compressors
    • Check the ventilation system in the plant for negative airflow
    • Install new parts into defective machines
    • Repair & troubleshoot electrical connection issues on machines
    • Inspect band saws, fire extinguishers, fire pumps, rooftop exhaust units, bench grinders, and other related machines/devices
    • In depth knowledge on usage of tools and equipment for appropriate jobs
    • Perform preventative maintenance task daily
    • And other related tasks as needed
    Requirements
    • 2+ years of related experience or education
    • Strong electrical background (preferred)
    • Able to work overtime as needed
    • Dependable and detail-oriented
    • Comfortable standing 8+ hours daily
    • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
    • Able to lift up to 50lbs as needed

    Maintenance Apprentice

     

    Allied Plastics is looking for hard-working candidates to fill our Maintenance Apprentice positions on either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts! Our ideal candidates would bring their top-notch mechanical skills.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Preventative maintenance on thermoforming equipment & vehicles (filters, grease & cleaning)
    • Cleaning of grounds (inside/outside), along with snow removal.
    • Basic building maintenance such as changing light bulbs, painting, plumbing repairs.
    • Will be trained by experienced maintenance technicians to conduct repairs on equipment.
    • A future goal would be to develop & train candidates to move into a technician role.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Closes tools after casting, which includes: water fittings, shrink marks, logo installation, vacuum drilling and manifolds
    • Measures, marks and scribes layout on castings
    • Sets up and operates machine tools such as milling machines, lathes, drill presses and grinders to machine castings to specifications
    • Checks logos and tool layouts as required by production packets, tooling, and part drawings
    • Completes aluminum mold modifications as needed
    • Operates welding equipment in assembling/modifying molds
    • Able to interact well with Management, Supervisors and all other employees
    • Keep legible and organized records/documentation and inspection records
    • Ability to create basic reports using Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Strong quality focus with great attention to detail
    • Maintain a clean work area and follow plant safety rules and regulations
